Fold3 5G Battery drain

I recently noted that my phone battery was draining uncommonly fast. I charged it to 100% last night and this morning it was down to 3%. Similar experience yesterday. And today I took the phone off the charger 15 minutes ago and it's already down 10%.
I checked status and no apps are listed as using an inordinate amount of energy. 
Any ideas? Thanks 

Edit: in the last 2 hours the phone has gone down another 25% without any use. Usually my phone would go a day or day and a half on one charge. I'll be lucky if this charge lasts another 4 hours.

Some things that can help with Battery optimization, if you're just having a battery draining issue, is the following:

Note: The battery adaptive feature may cause the battery to drain a little faster at first until the phone adapts to your usage, and learns how you're operating, the charge will be stored and used in different manners based on how you use your phone. This sometimes can take a few weeks for it to learn the habits and customize itself to make sure you have the best performance and lasting battery.

My fold 4 died after 4 hours being removed from the charger, after receiving the latest UI update my phone is constantly in an overheating mode and dying extremely fast
