Having issues with One IU 6.1.1

since updating to 6.1.1, my flip 6 has been having issues where it leaves me unable to flip my phone closed or else it won't turn back on or takes almost 5 to 8 minutes to turn the screen back on. On top of that, it forces a restart which takes almost as long. I'm not sure if I'm the only user having this issue at the moment.

Yess! I'm so sick of it lol, it's been happening since like October or November for me. And sorry I'd been replying to the main thread that whole time 🤣 😬

Try rebooting your phone into safe mode, which prevents any third-party software from running in the background and see if your phone runs any better in that mode. It's possible that you have installed some form of malicious software, causing your problem. If it does run better, you will need to determine what software app is causing the problem and uninstall it.

I just tried it after my cloud backup finished, was still having the same issues even in safe mode. I had a bit of hope after the screen was being responsive, but when I closed it to test it, it was back to an unresponsive black screen 😞 . Thank you for the suggestion !

Another thing you should do is go to the Support area here in the Members app and run the diagnostics for the phone. If you find any issues there, you can create an error report and submit it to Samsung tech support.
