About a week after my zfold4 recieved the 6.1.1 update, the inner screen started bugging, and then eventually stopped working completely. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the display/flex, or if it's software related. Here's what happens:
When you open the phone, the inner display is black and doesn't turn on.
Once you close the phone again, the outer display also becomes black.
When both screens become black they don't respond to anything, like tapping or using the power button.
After leaving the phone alone for a bit once it's closed, the outer screen turns on again and works normally, until the phone is flipped open again. Then the process repeats.
I've noticed that I sometimes get a system notification after the outer screen turns on again, saying that system ui/one ui stopped working, and asks if you want to close it or wait. This is what makes me think it may be a software issue. But then another thing happens that also hints it might be a flex issue as well. When the phone is powering on/off(like when it shows the samsung logo), both screens turn on, and you can see the animation in the inner screen as well when you slightly open it. But when you open the phone more, to about 30 degrees, the inner screen turns black. So that means the display itself is working, but it turns off when it's opened.
Anyone else expierencing something similar, or have any advice about what the cause could be?
