Galaxy Buds
Hey everyone,
I’ve been dealing with a strange issue when trying to connect my Galaxy Buds Pro 3 to my Vizio TV via Bluetooth, and I wanted to share my experience along with the troubleshooting steps I've taken.
Issue: Whenever I try to connect my Galaxy Buds to the TV, it completely locks up all the menus. The remote control becomes unresponsive, and the only way to fix it is to disconnect the TV from the power source and restart it. It’s not just a failed connection; it freezes the entire TV.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Contacted Vizio Support: I reached out to Vizio, but they couldn’t figure out why this was happening. After researching online, they mentioned this issue is affecting other TVs from different brands as well, so it seems to be more widespread than I thought.
2. Contacted Samsung Support: After Vizio, I contacted Samsung. We went through extensive troubleshooting together, but we still couldn’t resolve the issue. The problem persisted, and the TV continued to lock up instead of simply showing a connection error.
3. Tested with a Samsung TV: As a last step, I decided to test my Galaxy Buds on an older Samsung TV I have in the bedroom. Surprisingly, they paired successfully. However, when I tried troubleshooting further (by connecting the Buds to my phone and then attempting to reconnect to the Samsung TV), the TV restarted itself.
Has anyone else run into this issue with the Galaxy Buds Pro 3 or any other Bluetooth devices? Any suggestions or potential solutions would be really helpful!
Thanks in advance!
