When calling on phone calls, the caller on the other end hear all background noise. This is not an ambient noise setting as ambient noise only cuts out background noise for person wearing buds. This is a microphone issue as it is picking up all noise and transferring it to the person on other end of call. Apple solved this by adding a setting to change the microphone to only pick up voices. To turn this feature on with the airpods, you have to be on a call and change a setting for the microphone.

Does the galaxy bud have a way to change the microphone setting to stop amplifying and transmitting background noise on phone calls.

Again, this is not adjusted by turn on noise canceling as it only works for person wearing buds. This is a microphone issue and a setting for the microphone that needs to be adjusted.

While on a phone call, swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers. Be careful not to cover the front camera as it will turn off screen and keep it from registering touch.

Once you successfully swipe down the incall options menu there will be an option to change the microphone from the default standard to the voice sensitive setting that prioritizes voice over background noise.

This dramatically helps reduce background noise for those on the other end while on phone calls.
