Galaxy BudsSamsung has a bug in all their earbuds when connected to Windows PC. The mic volume is extremely low no matter what you do, and because of this you can't really use the buds with Teams or Zoom or telecoms. This has been a known problem for years reported by many many users and they haven't fixed it. I have other Bluetooth earbuds that work very well with Windows for telecoms and such, but not the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Talked to Samsung support and they don't acknowledge the issue just give you generic tips, none of which work.

Galaxy BudsHi Justin,
maybe you didn't catch the issue, but it isn't about the volume that you hear from the earbuds connected to the PC; it's about the microphone. On the other side of a Teams call, or whatever requires the use of your voice using the earbud's microphone, they can't hear my words when I'm talking.
Best regards.

Galaxy BudsWhy is this marked as a solution? The actions you suggest would not change the microphone volume, just the volume of the audio you hear.
They are almost unusable on Slack on Windows, they do however work fine on Slack on Android and Discord on Windows. I will try them with Zoom on Windows today, if they don't work well I may have to return them.
I just did a test with their volume set in Windows at 100% for the microphone, and Windows reports between 5% and 11% volume level coming from their microphones:
And this is how it looks recording in Audacity. On the left, a Logitech Microphone. On the right, the Samsung Buds:
Both recordings were done with the microphone volume set to 100% in Windows.

Galaxy BudsSamsungs incompetence is at worst here. A lot "independent advisors" on Microsoft forums do this, They give a wrong workaround and mark it as solution. This is an arrogant customer service trick to make it look like topics are closed in the forum. Probably they're incentivised to do this. Not to provide a solution but to close as much as topics as they can. If there was a downvote system, we would let them know clearly the solution has not been provided. but again there's No downvoting. They make sure the customer suffers on every front, not too less, not too much, just enough.

Galaxy BudsThis is not a solution! At all!. he didn't even understand the question. Samsungs incompetence here is astounding. Galaxy buds Mic volume issue on windows calls is discussed in reddit, twitter and samsung forums. sony or other similar brands seems to work just fine. I did not know until i used the buds on windows. I don't want to have a separate tws for windows. I should have gone for sony. Probably this samsung issue is a planned wall garden to force ppl into buying galaxy laptops. Too bad. My opinion on samsung changing on lot of fronts. There turning more anti-consumer day by day.

Galaxy BudsJust FYI, I saw this same question on the windows community - It seems to be a computer issue, not a Samsung one - https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-and-samsung-buds-pro-2-you-have-two...

Galaxy BudsAstroid has asked same questions on topic "Galaxy Buds 2 Pro unusable low mic volume on Windows PCs". However, SamsungJustin Community Manager misunderstood the question. The question is about "mic" has low volume when you try to use Buds for Teams, Zoom for other software for audio input, not listening volume. I have 5 Buds and non of them is working normally on any PCs. Please check and provide solution.

Galaxy BudsSame issue with Buds 3. Mic only goes to about 11% even though I have it set to max volume for the mic input.
