Anytime i have to update/restart my phone it will reset settings to there defaults. Its not just timeout like I keep finding on the internet.

Phone: Samsung Note 9
Version: Latest version.

Interesting, the settings that you have adjusted are the regular adjustments(volume, ringtone sound, WiFi network preferences) OR huge changes either an extra application like good lock?

Well to be more specific when ever my phone dies or I restart it like completely it will revert settings I change back to there default choices. So no matter what I do to my phone it will just revert settings back to basically when I bought the phone

That's a huge issue. Have you tried backing up to cloud?

This is very odd. When the phone turns on there is about a 5 second time frame where display settings I changed show and then revert to the default settings.

Ok thanks! it was good lock. Must have forgotten about it since I last used it 2 years ago.

It was the reason the interface and some thing I was changing was resetting.
