The gesture of placing the phone on the ear to call the person you're texting is not working after the update to Pie

If you are wanting to turn this feature on,  

Settings > Advanced features > Motion's and gestures  > Direct call  and turn this feature ON

However, please remember that turning this feature ON will also result in the noted "Hind end Dialing".  If you have the text window up and you stuff it in your pocket, or place it face down on your desk or lay it in your lap WILL result in dialing that person.
