Visual Voice-mail not downloading messages

What is wrong with visual voice-mail app? It's no longer downloading my messages. I can go into the app and see old messages.

 
I already contacted the carrier. I did a network reset on my phone, they did one in their system. I have done a force stop and I have refreshed in the app but just get an error message. I have restarted my phone, put it on airplane mode etc. This isn't a carrier issue because I'm still getting my text messages.

That happened with my older Samsung phone. Out of nowhere. But I recently got a new phone, and it hasn't happened yet. 'Fingers crossed' 🤞 🤞
