Always on display feature?

Is there a way to enable auto landscape mode for always on display???

Pull the notification shade and look for the auto rotate button and hold it down. You'll get the above menu. Turn on lock screen. When you have it in landscape and the AOD comes on it'll be in landscape.

I was always under the impression that when u turn on the auto rotate ot orherwsise setting up in ur quick menu pull down area that ur forcing display like this where it's an available disaster option as some apps dont have it as options like landscape for ex but I just assumed that once u set those display settings one way or another, ur essentially forcing those globally on ur device including always on which I could b incorrect but fyi

That said I honestly don't think this is a setting that can b modified by the user for this specific settings just cuz of the setting being by design I believe a security type settings generally
