actually, you do need a pin/password to power down the phone. You're assuming that the battery won't die. You can go to Google find and put an extra password on the phone or erase it (if it's still on).
You should delete the post, since you have now posted it again in the correct place (you actually should have added it to your original post, so it doesn't appear so random). It will confuse people if you leave it up here.
