Everyone probably knows about Auto Blocker, but here's an issue with the new Maximum setting. I was curious and wanted to try it. Yeah, it does what it's supposed to-blocks usb data, link previews, yada, yada, yada.....

BUT, when I turned it off it really **bleep** up group messaging, via Samsung Messages. When one of the group sends a message it pops a notification bubble for that individual along with the individuals sound which links to the last message from that individual, THEN pops a bubble for the group with no sound. The content auto download in the group messages is still blocked as if Maximum is still on. So always 2 bubbles for every message.

I have: Turned blocker completely off, Cycled power, Restarted phone, Deleted group conversation, and FORCED app stop and cleared cache. Still when someone from the group sends a message it all happens again. The conversation even still has the Custom configured sound I had set for it, although it uses the Custom sound for the individual as before.

Guessing clearing data will be the last resort unless someone has a better idea.

Curiosity Killed the App.....

Update:
I Forced app to stop, Deleted Data and it didn't do what I thought it might, but it fixed the issue.
It did not delete any existing conversations or media contained in them, or change the Pinned to Top!

The things that had to be redone: reset all custom notification sounds for individual contacts, reconfigure for Bubble pop-ups, and approve link previews.

I think the Maximum setting would be better if there were individual toggles for each element to block, and a filter to exclude calls/messages from contacts and certain apps. The hammer is too big.
