Can we rename apps?

Will we be able to rename apps? Say change "Google Maps" to just "Maps"?

Just another reason I use a custom launcher. I can rename, add tags, and edit what is shown in my app drawn, vs search, vs hidden entirely.

Stock launchers suck.

Personally I use Kvaesitso. Open Source and free. Great launcher with an absolute ton of customization.
