Dialing from web

I access my leads through a website and the phone numbers are in blue so we can dial out easily. +1 is applied automatically every time I call a number. I then have to put the cursor in front of the +1 and delete it in order for it to show up in history to see when the last time or how many times I've called. I wouldn't have to do any of that if the +1 didn't populate. That extra step takes a lot of time to have to do every time. It doesn't say +1 in blue. It's just the 10 digit phone number. Is there a way to stop the +1 from being added? It's of no use and because it does not populate in history it looks like a new number every single time you click the link to dial it. The speed is everything and this task is more than 50% of the time it takes to call one number to the next with proper data because of a simple +1. I can't think of a scenario we're adding additional numbers could possibly help someone he's not asking for it
