Hey, I got this phone and tried setting up face recognition, got the error "Face recognition not working. Couldn't open camera. Try again", then I understood the problem is with the camera, not the face recognition thing. Because I tried launching the camera, it works, the back camera works, but when I try to launch the selfish (front) camera in the camera app, it says "Warning. Camera failed". BTW afterwards I need to reset the camera in settings to make it usable again, because each time I launch it, it would give me this error, not even letting me switch to the back camera.  Please help with fixing the back camera. Thanks in advance.

Hello, thanks for reaching out about your selfie camera giving a "Camera failed" error message. If your phone is displaying a "Camera Failed" message, freezing, lagging, or the preview is not working, the good news is that it's most likely a software issue and not a physical problem with the camera: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001329/

If it ends up being, a hardware issue after troubleshooting, you can do as @realaud suggested. For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options:

You will have to go to a repair shop. The S10 is long out of warranty. You can find an authorized shop on Samsung's website or the support tab of the members app.
