Galaxy S PhonesWhat gives you the right to do a 'security update' on my phone and then install spam and spyware games while you're at it? What in the world makes you think that people are OK with this?

Galaxy S PhonesIf you have a carrier phone, it's your carrier who loads "extras" onto the updates. You have to send your objections to them, but I believe it's part of the contract you sign when you make the purchase. Buying a carrier version of a phone, makes it a convenient, easy to manage purchase, but it comes at the cost of the carrier having control of your phone and its features.
Even if it *was* Samsung adding these extras, it would still be spelled out in the purchase terms that you would have had to agree to and, therefore, that would give them the right.
