Is there a way to have multiple apps kept open?

I want to keep open more than 1 app so I wont close those apps when "Close All"

Yeah open your recent apps and tap the icon of the app and select keep open I believe you can have 3 app

Maybe I messed up with the settings too much, its not there. Or at least it doesnt show past 1 app.

Strange, I'm only able to apply this setting to one app also. Once I set it for one app, the option is greyed out on all others. This is on my S22U with 6.1

I have an A54 runnining Android 14/OneUI 6.1. I just tried with my currently open apps, and the options that pop up for me includes, "lock this app". I was able to lock the 4 that were open.
