Galaxy S PhonesMy galaxy s10+ moves pretty good in all apps an interfaces but when it comes to the camera app it turns REALLY laggy and slow. For example, if I try to turn the camera from the main one to the selfie, it takes about 5 seconds and it's really annoying. Same if I try to switch modes, from camera to video or to night mode, it just takes forever. I tried everything, I deleted cache, data of the app, I reseted it, main storage is internal memory, I just can't solve it and it's a really big problem when I try to shoot a photo rapidly. In third party apps such as snapchat it doesn't take as long to switch cameras, I remember that some years ago it wasn't like this at all, and my low range galaxy A series is a lot faster in this domain, and it's from the same year.

Galaxy S PhonesNo, because I have an A series phone from the same year with the same version of Android and it doesn't have this problem. This phone some years ago didn't have this problem either and i dont understand why it does now, why did it get worse with software updates? Also, the s10 it is a 5 year old phone but I is a top end phone and its processor is faster than most of today's middle range

Galaxy S PhonesIt doesn't make sense that with android 10 it was fast, and now, with android 12 it's slow, it should be more optimized after 2 android updates. Doesn't make sense that the updates made it slower.

Galaxy S PhonesIt's still not normal for a fast phone to take forever to switch cameras or to acces video mode. In everything else, this phone is pretty fast, faster than 2024 mid range phones. How is it different than a budget phone from 2019? The budget phone is worse, hasn't gotten any updates since 2021 and its still faster in the camera app, I get that they don't optimise it anymore, but it should not get worse than before once they stop updating it, it should stay the same, and some years ago I didn't have this problem

Galaxy S PhonesWhat you're saying doesn't make sense at all. A flagship is definitely engineered to last longer and perform better than a middle range. And again, it isn't normal for it to perform worse than before because it doesn't get MORE optimised than before, but it also doesn't get UNOPTIMISED or less optimised.
Also, it doesn't make sense because my 2015 Galaxy s6 still performs better in the camera app, an OLD FLAGSHIP, because it doesn't get less optimised
