Hello all who's available, I have done all these steps to restore the data saver icon just to be unable to restore it. Due to not having the available toggle to edit it back on the panel I'm stuck & not able to use my hot spot cause my phone telling me to turn off my data saver that Inever turned on. If anyone can help PLEASE HELP ME!!! FYI data saver not showing under connections for data usage ither.
You can make a routine to turn it off when you turn the hotspot on. Incidentally, I do not have the data saver toggle available on my quick panel either, but I do have the setting in my connections settings. Do you have a carrier locked phone? Perhaps your carrier has turned that setting of.
Can you provide a screen shot of your connections settings panel? Every Android phone I've ever seen, regardless of brand, has the data usage setting so that one can actually check and limit their data usage. It's a way for people who may have limited data to keep track of their usage, so it would have to be there. If you can't find it by eyeballing it, try using the search function.
