Text messages will not send simply by pressing send once. It usually takes 3 presses to send a message. It is doing the same thing on different texting apps. Just started all of a sudden. Not a severe problem, just an annoyance. Thanks for any advice.
You can also try: cleaning your screen, maybe your screen is dirty, so it's insensitive. Turn on the sensitive mode if you have a screen protector. Then you can try closing the apps and opening them again.
