Navigation buttons not working properly after update

I ran the most recent update on 5/7 and after it finished my navigation buttons stopped working properly. I would have to press the buttons multiple times just to get a response. It would highlight the button press but nothing would actually happen until I've pressed them many, many times! A Samsung rep suggested using "Swipe Gestures" until the issue is acknowledged & fixed. Definitely takes some getting used to but that works for now! Anyone else have this issue after the UI update?

Reboot your device and then try to switch back to navigation bar buttons.

Have you run diagnostics on your touchscreen using Device Care in settings?
