Why even bother? I say just skip it and prep us for ONE UI 8 instead.

Hello Srb79, Thank you for being part of the Community. We appreciate you posting the information from sammyfans .com.

We do not know why there is a delay in the One UI 7 update, other than Samsung is working to make it the best for the phones.

Once it is released to the public, it will be sent to the service providers. Additional information for the phone updates can be found here: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/quot-Where-is-the-next-update-for-my-Samsung-device-...

I am wondering if this official update release timeframe will include a ton of fixes sorely needed for the UI 7.0 in the S25 line. For now it will only include updating the "Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, gradually rolling out to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets".

That is 20 days away and with the testing now on beta #5, I hope Samsung seriously addresses these issues. This is easily the longest beta run I have ever seen and I have participated in 4 of them over the years.

So for me, these are must fixes for sure:

- The camera software needs to fix color accuracy, night/low light photography and video taking fixing the pixelation/grainy images issues that have plagued the S series since the S21 in my experience (I do not know about the S23-24s as I never bought them). Samsung just cannot keep lagging behind Apple/Google in these areas considering the ultras cost $1299.

- The Now Bar (which I honestly do not use nor do I care about it) is woefully lacking. Having tested it out for over two periods (before and after February update) of using the lock screen the only update I ever received was to fill an order as shown on Samsung calendar, of which I do not use as my calendar. I literally have not received any news, events etc, just that one. But the hit or miss for so many S25 users is well documented on the web and here. Some are OK with out white others do not get much if anything if at all form it, no matter how much they try to get it to funciton as advertised. Ngl, I find the Google media page better at providing updates as I can customize what I want to see populate in the feed and it can be refreshed on the fly.

-The Status bar/Quick and its icons need to be allowed to be chosen for contrast/viewing ease (it is literally and accessibility issue for me). If a user wants to not have the current layout that should be allowed which brings to mind as why have panel settings that are so limited.  Noting that some users want the quick panel access to show media playing on the first swipe, while leaving out function changes or viewing quick panel settings not allowed by choice other than to arrange where they are in the panel hierarchy.

- Combine setting features to work under relevant criteria. I mean AOD/Lock screen functions should also be part of Security and privacy for example. Or at least link sections in the settings with hints when making changes that can affect relevant features/functions. That way, changes can be understood by how certain changes work for other areas in the settings. This has been long overdue for years.

Not a necessity: one thing I would like is to make the Members apps and the web based Community text work cross platform when it comes especially to paragraphing comments. They are fine on the web( as I am here), but when composed here, they are not paragraphed on the app, making reading difficult.

Anyway, that is what I am hoping for as I think this rollout will include fixes. Other user may have ideas on what needs to be seriously addressed. So here i the link to the announcement made a few hours ago...
