Galaxy S PhonesI have a problem with my galaxy S9 that I been trying to figure out for weeks now. I can't seem to find anything about it on the Internet. (Model# SM G960U running Android 10) I have double checked to see that all the speaking accessibility options have been turned off on my phone. Regardless of those settings my phone still speaks websites out loud whenever I touch a link. This can be a link to track a package or a link to open a video. It doesn't seem to matter. The only way to stop my phone from reading websites aloud once it starts is to restart my phone. I am finding this very annoying.
I Have:
Reset phone settings to defaults
Reset accessibility options to defaults
Reset phone completely (Factory reset)
Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Galaxy S Phones1. From Settings, drag down with two fingers all the way to the bottom, and then double-tap on Accessibility. On foldables and tablets, this is on the left side.
2. Double-tap on TalkBack, and then double-tap on the toggle to turn it off. On larger screens, these items are on the right side.
3. After turning off, the phone should no longer speak, and all screen navigation methods will return to normal.
Let me know if you are still having trouble.

Galaxy S PhonesFor about two months i have been trying to figure out why my phone was talking even though all accessibility setting are turned off. I have reset my phone completely 3 times. Finally i figured out the solution.
i like to make my own custom sound files: to convert typed text to voice i use a program called talk-free. then i merge it with a chosen sound file. apparently by default the program reads any link or website that i tap on on my android phone. Now that i have uninstalled the program my phone has shut its yap. later i will reinstall the program and disable it when not needed or see if I can turn off its read-aloud setting.
