Smart Call keeps stopping once opening call log after update

As indicated in the subject.

I've updated my device Samsung galaxy s9 today, after the update the smart call app keeps stopping each time I open the call log.

What can I do to fix this

Go to Settings > Apps > click the three dots on the top right > select show system apps > after system apps appear, search for "Smart Call"  > Click on "Storage" > Clear data and cache.

Good as new. At least mine was.

This has solved the problem I had, I wasn't aware that there is a separate system app lists, anyway many thanks for your help.

That's only a temporary fix I did it but it's doing it all over again now this is a garbage update

Great, worked for me too. The issue seemed to have negative impact on the general performance of my phone. It made it a lot slower. Thanks for the fix 😀👍

Fix seems temporary ...  App details will not allow turning notifications off and will NOT stay

I tried this first with just clearing the cache and that doesnt work.

Don't know if you have to do both but you definitely have to clear the data.

Pretty disgusted by Samsung on this though for their lack of testing. This is a basic phone feature. Tge one area of a device that should be considered sacred. The device MUST work for calls. Imagine needing emergency service for someone with breathing difficulties justbe be told you can't make a call because of a software update. Basic stuff Samsung. Basic!
