I don't understand why my Spotify music comes on whenever my Samsung phone is started? I make sure all apps are closed before powering down the phone? I have tried countless times to find the controls so this will not occur!... but to no avail!

Hello, I hope you're doing well.
I know exactly what you're talking about as I experience the same issue when rebooting. The issue stems from the Spotify app itself as it is auto launching in the background. I do not see an option in the app to prevent this.
I'd recommend either contacting Spotify support or leaving a review with this information so that the app developer can address this.
