When I was 13 I stupidly put a password on my phone and instantly forgot it, meaning I had essentially bricked this phone after only having it for about a year.. now I want to see my old images but apparently that's not an option because of privacy etc.

I still want to reset it though, if I can.. but as I've forgotten the password, I can't enter the system settings.

Or alternatively, if anyone knows of a way to bypass the code, and get into the phone without it that'd be neat too.

I've tried holding power + home + volume up, and it shows a red bar with "download" as the only option.

I have no cable for pc connection, and no internet access on it..

1. Actually, i did the same thing this summer, but with some free time and a couple minutes rummaging for google passwords, I recovered it.
2. If you can't connect via cable, I'd take it to a repair shop, if there are any near you. They may have the necessary tools.

3. I take it it uses an old proprietary cable?

Yea proprietary.

I don't think I'll find anything in google passwords, this was a phone from the 'before-times' when things were locally stored šŸ˜‚
