Got an update for my watch and phone both on the same day. Around Dec. 19. Now my watch won't send me any notifications, won't detect work outs, or heart rate, sleep, etc. My watch is basically useless. Anybody know what is going on? I've called Samsung tech support and they basically told me to do what I already knew. Reset watch and phone, uninstall gear app, factory reset for both etc. Nothing is working. Anybody else having this issue?

I have a Watch7 and a Watch5 Pro. I was wearing the Watch5 Pro when I received both the update for the phone and the Watch5 Pro. Everything seems to be working fine for Watch5 and phone as well as the Watch7.
I would suggest a factory reset on your Watch 5 Pro and set it up as you had previously. I would also suggest not restoring it from the backup as the backup may possibly be corrupted, and if so, restoring from a corrupted backup configuration may simply restore the problem as well.
