Anyone know a good case without thin and breakable pieces on the outer shell?

I've used the Otterbox Commuter case on every phone I've owned. It seems like the thin pieces of the plastic shell of the case inevitably get broken. Can anyone suggest a case which offers a similar level of protection to the commuter but does not have thin and breakable pieces on the outer shell?

ESR on Amazon. Got a thin case with magsafe and a kickstand and I've dropped my phone out of my semi and it's been perfectly fine.
