Galaxy S21Hey, Gagi! Thanks for the question. I understand you are having trouble creating new contacts without using "Search for Chatbots". As others have mentioned, I'm unfamiliar with this as well. You should be able to create contacts using the guides below without using any other features.
- Open the Contacts app on your Samsung phone.
- Tap the + (Plus) icon.
- Select your preferred storage location (Samsung account, Google, or Phone).
- Enter the name and phone number.
- Tap Save.
- Open Samsung Messages to start a new text.
- Open the Phone app.
- Tap Keypad and type the number.
- Tap Add to Contacts (or the + icon at the top).
- Select Create new contact.
- Type the name and tap Save.
If you are redirected to this chatbot screen, try clearing the app cache:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Apps.
- Select Messages.
- Tap Storage.
- Tap Clear cache.
- Restart the app.
Be sure to click " โ Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you.
