Gallery overwrites my image when saving

Just got the Samsung S21, an upgrade from the S8. When editing pictures on the S8....when I saved it, the gallery would show the original AND the edited. Now, on the S21, it only shows the edited. I want to keep the original because I sometimes use "pieces" of photos. Is there a setting that saves the copy separately?

On my s9+ i have gallery and google photos when i edit pics it shows original and edit maybe in camera settings there might be a setting for that

When you edit a pic instead of save hit 3 dots it corner for option to keep original. If this helps hit the check mark solution!
