Galaxy S21I have an S21 phone that I want to give to a friend. I upgraded my kids phone and he was supposed to turn in the phone for the rebate but "forgot" so I have this phone that I have done a factory reset on. It hooks up to Wifi no problem. It comes up with the message to log into the google account that is associated with the phone. When I try it won't take the PIN and when I use the email or phone number then the password. It will send messages to the old phone, we say "yes" then choose the correct number on the new phone the old one shows, but then goes right back to put in your google account and password. I Can not get past this spot. Things we've tried are resetting the password on the google account and removing two step verification on the account. Nothing seems to work. I chatted with Samsung and they are saying it's a google issue and google says it's a samsung issue. Looking for anything I can do that may be able to wipe the phone completely and start from scratch if that's even possible. TIA

Galaxy S21I've tried everything suggested here and by the samsung tec help to no avail. I found some software for a reasonable price called UnlockGo which I was a little suspicious of TBH so I loaded it on a PC I use for such things (clean installed windows and nothing else but AV software) Ran the software while plugged into the phone (had to select US Phone choice there was an all androids but that did not work) and that really did the trick. I saw a lot of other YT suggestions with software etc that looked very sketchy. This legit worked for me. I've spent hours on the phone and PC trying to resolve this. The 15 bucks I had to pay was worth my time and frustration. Thanks everyone for their suggestions I really do appreciate them. Many of the suggestions were ones that the Samsung assistance also had me do. What made things even more difficult is this was my kids previous phone and he's living a few states away so every time I tried things he had to have him on the line with his phone. So I guess we can consider this solved.
