Help please usbc to aux

I have a galaxy s21. It only has a usbc port and my car radio only has an aux port. No blue tooth.  So I bought a cord so I could listen to my music through my car. Only I couldnt hear it.  The volume was up,  but I turned it up more.  I could hear it then,  but, it was horrible quality,  static sounds, very low, like how the radio sounds when you are just about out of range of what ever station you're listening to. Is this normal?

Make your cord supports dac or it won't work with usbc

It could possibly be the cord, is it high quality? Or a cheap gas station or Amazon one

It is a cheap one, I'll look for better quality cord. Thank you.

I use a Bluetooth converter that I plug into my auxiliary car plug.
