My phone repeats everything I type. How do I stop this madness?

System sound/vibration control then switch off the Samsung keyboard under sound

Didn't work, that only took away my ability to do voice input.

that sounds like a totally different issue.

You should open a separate thread if you haven't, you can use a "screen recorder" to provide better understanding of what the issue is.

is your "talk back" feature turned on? if so, you can go to 'Settings > Accessibility > Talk Back (off)'
