Usually when I take a picture of my dog it shows a little picture of a dog in the corner. Or when a plant it shows a plant, and so on. The last few weeks though it does not do this. When I restart my phone it will work for a little but then stops. I have cleared the cache partition. Anyone else having this issue?

Did Samsung ask you to factory reset your phone? They suggested that as a solution, but if you have tried and I did not work, then I won't.

found a fix that has worked longer than normal, and is still working. fingers crossed it keeps working. turn off your phone. hold the power button and volume up button at the same time until you're in the boot menu. Then select repair apps (should be the very bottom) it will optimize the apps and it should work now.

I received a software update today on my phone geared towards a camera fix. I am waiting to see if the update works long-term for the scene optimizer. I will keep you informed.

sorry for the late response. I checked mine just now and it is still working. the only other thing that I did which was recommended by Samsung was to go into apps, click the three dots on the top right and clear all so preferences. when I did this before the repair app option it did not work but that is the only other thing that I have done. also maybe try clearing your cache partition ( go to the boot menu again). if you do clear the app preferences make sure you read everything that it will change, can be annoying having to set all the defaults again.

Repair apps worked for me (so far).   Thanks for the help.
