Galaxy S22Good afternoon. I have a Samsung S22 and I do not get any sound on videos or by bluetooth on my hearing aids. When I go into sounds--sound quality and effects the equalizer is greys out as is the adapt sound. My heaing aid place says to make sure it is set to normal and adapt sounds is turned of. Both are greyed out so I cannot check anything. Any ideas, Thanks, Mike

Galaxy S22If the equalizer and adapt sound options are grayed out on your Samsung S22 and you're experiencing issues with sound on videos and Bluetooth connectivity to your hearing aids, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check Sound Settings: Make sure that the sound settings on your device are configured correctly. Go to Settings > Sounds and vibrations > Volume > Media, and ensure that the volume is turned up and not set to silent or vibration mode.
Restart your Device: A simple restart can often resolve minor software glitches. Try restarting your Samsung S22 by powering it off and then turning it back on again.
Clear App Cache: If you're experiencing sound issues specifically with certain apps, clearing their cache might help. Go to Settings > Apps, select the app in question, and then tap on "Storage." From there, you can clear the cache associated with the app.
Check Bluetooth Settings: If you're unable to connect to your hearing aids via Bluetooth, ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that your hearing aids are in pairing mode. Remove any existing Bluetooth connections to your hearing aids and then attempt to pair them again.
Reset Network Settings: Resetting your network settings can sometimes resolve Bluetooth connectivity issues. Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings. Note that this will remove saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth connections, so you will need to set them up again.
Software Update: Ensure that your Samsung S22 is running the latest software version. Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check for any available updates.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to visit a service center for further assistance. They will have access to specific troubleshooting steps and may be able to provide a solution tailored to your device and situation.

Galaxy S22Nothing worked. The Hearing Aid store said Samsungs have a quirk in them that won't allow connection to the Hearing Aids sometimes esp after an update. This has happened nymerous times to mine. They said go to sounds and vibration-sound quality and effects-ensure that this is set to normal-click on adapt sound- make sure it is set to off. when I try thiseverything is greyed out except for dolby atmos for gaming. I am going there today, she usually cam reset something. The ATT stores are no help, they just want to sell you insurance.

Galaxy S22My Miracle Ear store figured it out. Sometimes when you enlarge the font on messages this happens, she corrected the font and it works fine now. Who woulda thought

Galaxy S22Well, I stoped into Miracle Ear in Orland Park, Il and talked to Lara (she has been unbelievable in helping me with problems with my HAs and My S22. She said she had someone in with the same problem a while back and believe it or not when you go into settings and set the font on messages bigger it can cause this problem. She set the font to the smallest and BOOM it is now working. Who woulda thought, unbelievable. Thanks, Mike

Galaxy S22The app for your hearing aid can trump the Samsung sound settings. My Otocon app has its own equalizer which will grey out phones settings. Try changing the audio output to use the phones speakers as a test. If the Samsung option goes to normal, it probably the hearing aid app.
