So I have an audio enhancer that runs as a background process and it drains my battery pretty quick, even when im not using it. I was wondering if there was a way to "automate" it to where whenever I open Spotify, it would run the app in the background and when I close Slotify it would kill the background app.

You should be able to create a routine for that. If app opened (Spotify) then app opened (audio enhancer) then set the end action to clise the audio app when spotify closes.
