I want to buy a gimbal to use with my S22 Ultra while I am hiking trails. I can't seem to find one that is fully compatible with the S22U though. Most only support basic camera functions. Are there any gimbals are fully compatible with the S22U?
I'm in the same boat. Starting to look like the Insta360 Flow (sounds like a coffee maker to me) is supposed to be the best... You probably already have seen this though. I'm still not happy with all the reviews. I got a little super cheap one (don't even know the off brand name) to see if I would really want to get one. Things I found that I'm now aware of that I wasn't before: 1.) The Horizon Line doesn't stay horizonal when making making 90 degree turns. 2.) Apps don't work with the on board camera preventing use of 60 fps and other critical features. 3.) Overheats the phone and itself. 4.) Lowers battery usage in both devices really fast! 5.) Not all the features will work on the gimbal even if connected to the app. 6.) Poor filming quality after about 15 minutes. I assumed this was due to the overheating; but I'm not certain. 7.) Extreme flickering and distortion of footage after about 15 minutes. --- I hope this helps your search too. Listen to the real Galaxy S22 Ultra users though, and ask specific questions. Everyone used them differently.
Yeah, I know. After weeks of research and not one single solid answer, I just gave up. It boggles my mind to think that this is still a problem in 2024 for Android phones.
The only real solutions, as far as a can see, is either convert to the iPhone (never gonna happen for me) or get an, DJI Osmo pocket 3. The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is the direction I am headed.
