Galaxy S22I removed my lens protector shortly after I installed it. I was getting what you describe and glare on the lens because the protectors are not coated.
Especially if you have a glass protector, the flash can enter the edges around the cutout for the flash and interfere with the picture. Only you can decide if you want to Leave it installed or not.

Galaxy S22Excellect reasoning regarding flash entering the side edge of the glass lens protector.
My SOLUTION was to apply a narrow strip of FOIL TAPE along the edge of the glass, next to the flash. PROBLEM SOLVED!
The foil tape I used was furnace tape, available at hardware and home improvement stores.
Amazon has a small roll of "3M 3311 Silver Aluminum Foil Tape - 1 in. x 5 yd." for under $5.
Best of luck.

Galaxy S22Hello, can you take a photo of how you did it? I have no idea where you put the foil? We have S24 ultras and my hubby shot a wedding and the camera cover ruined about half of them.

Galaxy S22I'm guessing that before he installed the lens protector he took the foil tape and stuck it to the edge of each of the lens openings and then trimmed it flush with a razor.
Personally I stick by my recommendation to just remove it. Even with the foil on the edge, which has got to be a pain to install, the lens protectors don't have the same quality coating, if any, as camera protectors and will flair from the sun in outside shots.
