Galaxy S22My Samsung messaging app automatically trims the background of photos I include with a message.
This is something that only started recently - not sure exactly how long.

Galaxy S22If this is automatically removing the background, is it creating a duplicate image without the background removed? Like LongHiker said, if this is a 3rd party app causing this concern; I would recommend putting your phone in Safe Mode to test out that idea. You can do that by following the link here.

Galaxy S22@userN0gE98zrJ2 That is not a feature of Samsung messages. You have something else going on with your phone. Perhaps a conflict with a 3rd party app is causing the issue.
