I can't receive messages from a specific phone number

I have an S22 that seems to be fine except that it does not receive text messages from one particular phone. The number is not blocked and it can receive calls from that phone. If my phone is part of a mass media communication it will receive the messages from all. What am I doing wrong.

this is happening to me as well which for just phone calls from one number that just happens to be my boss so it is a bit of an issue

Did you ever figure out what was wrong?  I can't get calls from a few places,  either.  It's a serious problem!
