Galaxy S22
On the Galaxy S22, notifications typically donāt vibrate when the phone is unlocked by default, as it's designed to minimize disturbances when actively using the phone. However, if you want to receive vibrations even when it's unlocked, here are some steps to try:
1. Enable Vibrations for Specific Apps:
Go to Settings > Notifications.
Tap App notifications, find the app you want to adjust, and check if vibration is enabled for its notification settings.
2. Change System Vibration Settings:
Go to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Vibrate for calls and Notification vibration pattern.
Experiment with different vibration settings here, as some patterns can make notifications more noticeable.
3. Check Do Not Disturb Settings:
Go to Settings > Notifications > Do not disturb. Ensure that it's not set to block vibrations when the phone is unlocked.
4. Samsungās Good Lock App:
You can install Good Lock from the Galaxy Store and use the NotiStar module. This app offers advanced customization for notifications, which may give you more control over notification vibrations.
