Awful update of one UI 6. Recently upgraded my s22 ultra to one UI 6 and I really wanna go back. Last time I wrote about the issues in the gallery app, video player in gallery app, and notification panel. After discovering more things about new update is that now I can't play my audio in 2 different Bluetooth speakers at once using media control. I also can't switch back and forth the audio from Bluetooth speaker to my phone speaker and to achieve this I either need to disconnect the speaker or turn off the Bluetooth. This is getting absurd, day by day. These are all my daily activities in life and samsung have completely messed things around and there is no going back. Very poor update from samsung especially at the time of Christmas and season of music. The developers of this upgrade have arbitrarily made changes without thinking about the users.
I'm so exhausted trying to fix all the apps Samsung's update has ruined. All of my stored passwords are no longer stored in Samsung Wallet and I have no idea what apps are working and which ones are not properly updating until I use them. All I want for Christmas is the previous version of my phone! This is really disrupting business on my end.
Downgrading isn't officially supported by manufacturers. It may void your warranty, and you could potentially brick your device. You should not try this unless you've got experience modifying your device's firmware.
One can use Samsung's Odin (firmware flashing software) to downgrade a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra from Android 14 to Android 13.

My S23 Ultra and my S9 Tab both started having connectivity issues immediately after the update to UI6. Sometimes they say I have full cell signal. But after multiple tries to send messages, emails, connect to google chrome or maps, I just have to restart them to solve the issue, temporarily. I have apps that freeze, crash and are completely unusable since this update. I have restarted devices, uninstalled apps, reinstall apps, tried WiFi, 4G, 5G and UI 6 still appears to be the issue. This is not what I pay for.
I've had Galaxy devices for 10 years and never had issues with Pandora, Strava, Garmin Connect, or Zwift. But since the UI 6 update I have problems every day. I have an old Samsung A50 phone that has UI 3.1. It's not connected to the cell network, only WiFi and it has no issues with any apps.
Was forced to install update on S23 Ultra. WORST update ever. Too much to document; many others have done so. I've been loyal Samsung phone customer for over 10 years, and have spent $1000s on their top-of-the-line phones. This last update is like chopping up a Mercedes Maybach to make it a moped. For the first time ever, I'm researching their competitors for quality phones and who have a history of respecting their customers. Let me know if you have recommendations.
Same boat; ready to bail. 2023 (and so far all of 2024) has been a complete nightmare with Samsung. TV updates, appliances, phone updates, and now Wearable has been dead for weeks... just done.
