Message lost from FB messenger

I don't know why and how. But I have seen, some of my fb messages vanished from my phone's messenger( s22 ultra) automatically.

That happened on mine too. I uninstalled and reinstalled messenger, and they all came back.

Exactly the same happened to me ..twice! Messenger lost the most recent messages (including shared photos etc) on my S22 Ultra. The messages only disappeared from the phone and they were available on messenger.com

Both times i uninstalled messenger, installed again and the messages magically re-appeared.

Actually think it's an issue with the mobile app rather than the phone
