I have tried everything to get my phone to autocorrect "thr" to "the".
Can't figure it out.
It was comical when I searched for a solution how many "thr" typos I found in thr comunity. Anyone figured this out?

here's what I did to fix this. I added "thr" to my text shortcuts, with "the" as the "expanded phrase"

Hello @Wesli!
I am assuming that you use Samsung Keyboard, please let me know if that is not the case.

In Samsung Keyboard, it learns your patterns and how you type. One of the downsides of that is sometimes it adds words that are not correct.

The simple way to get rid of it is to hold on the word for 2 seconds, and then when it prompts you to remove the word, confirm it.

I have attached a screenshot to help you.

Thanks foe the reply. I have tried this but it hasn't worked. If I type thr, then it appears on thr far left of thr predictive text bar.
If I hold down on it, nothing happens. If I hold down on thr middle word or the right word, I can delete those.
If I type th and look down at the bar, thr is not listed in the predictive text so I can't delete it.
Frustrating

Look at the screenshot collage I've attached ... I typed "thr" ... notice the cursor is still attached on the end of 'r'.

The next key I tapped was the spacebar.

Notice the keyboard did the proper autocorrect. (lower collage).

And NO, I did not tap the "the" word in the 'spelling suggestion bar'.

I say this works correctly for me because we use GBoard ...

When we first tried GBoard, we found it superior to and more flexible than the Sammy keyboard.
