I have one ui 6.1. I want to use the new AI interpreter to translate live chats. But I don't have the Interpreter icon in my pull down menu.

I went in to where you edit the icons, add the ones you want to appear, its not there.

Any ideas why I don't have this icon?

The AI Interpreter feature in One UI 6.1 may be limited to specific devices or regions, which could explain why itā€™s not showing up on your Galaxy S22. Samsung often rolls out new features in stages, and some are restricted based on device compatibility or market availability.

Here are a couple of things to try:

1. Check for Any Pending Updates: Occasionally, features are added with minor updates or patches. Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to ensure you're fully up to date.

2. Region Restrictions: The AI Interpreter might not be available in all regions yet. You can try using Samsung's Bixby Vision within the Camera app or the Samsung Internet app, both of which offer translation features for live text.

If the feature remains unavailable, it might be a phased rollout, with broader device support expected in future updates.

Can you add them by editing the Quick Settings?Screenshot_20241101_202149_Interpreter_1000057992_1730517710.pngScreenshot_20241101_202214_Samsung Members_1000057993_1730517738.png
