Galaxy S22Asking on behalf of my husband as he’s had to rush off to work. His phone has been on perfect working order up until last night, only a year old, no new apps have been installed recently.
His alarm didn’t go off, so checked his phone and it’s dead. Been on a wireless charger all night, so the first thing we did was plug it in and leave it for half an hour, still nothing.
the phone is definitely off as I tried to ring, so it’s not just a black screen.
tried hard resetting, but the phone is just completely dead.
what could have happened overnight for the phone to just die like that??

Galaxy S22Hey there! I can absolutely understand the importance of needing your phone to work! If you haven't already went through the process of getting a replacement with your insurance I would suggest having a certified technician take a look at it!
You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864. For service outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html I do apologize for any inconvenience.

Galaxy S22update - asked him, he said no update was planned 🤷:female_sign:
Annoyingly I don’t know if it was planning an update.. but that’s the only conclusion I could come to as well!

Galaxy S22He doesn't have a Samsung account, so I’m assuming you need that to back up to the cloud? I could be wrong!
Luckily not too long ago I told him to move any important photos from his phone to his computer, so at least we still have those.
