S22 Ultra 5G Gmail Crashes Opening Outlook Emails

Out of the blue the Gmail app is no longer opening my emails from the outlook accounts. I'm at a point where I have no idea how to fix since I can't uninstall & reinstall Gmail but only disable.

I've done all the usual: stop app, clear app cache, wipe system cache, remove/add outlook accounts, disable/enable app. I just also applied the latest system update and nothing is working.

Note that I can open Gmail accounts emails just fine.

Help...

Have you checked your outlook settings? Sometimes it wants to verify your password and won't work until you do.

I removed & readded the accounts and it syncs fine so not sure why it's crashing. When it had that issue before all this started, it would prompt me to verify the account. The issue is with ALL the outlook accounts.

Might be an issue on Outlooks end. Not sure.

It works fine on my Galaxy tablet still so something funky is going on with the app on the S22. I can't tinker with this for too long so I installed Samsung Email and it's working fine with all my accounts. Maybe I'll upgrade to an S25 as a fix. 😆

Well .... thats a horse of a different color...... S25 looks amazing! Pre order and most carriers will upgrade you to the 512gb for the same as the 256gb !

Verizon is not doing the storage upgrade this year for free.

Maybe it's a Gmail issue and you should be contacting Google.

And the Gmail app is software. If you are using outlook to access Gmail, and not the Gmail app, then the issue would be with Microsoft.  Again, not Samsung.
