Hey everyone. I have the base S22 model and while I love it for the most part, the battery is hands down the worst battery Ive ever had in a phone. Like, oit of the box it has the longevity of a 5 years old phone with a dying battery.
Now, my wife has a chance to get a brand new base S23 for a very decent price, but the battery is a concern here. Could anyone who owned both comment on the difference between the battery life of two models? Ive read that the battery is better with the 23, but is it a considerable improvement?
I have one getting 4 to 5 days battery on a charge. It's learned my usage patterns. I have it highly optimized. I restart it every day on schedule for a no hacking experience. Use a vpn, put all my apps to sleep until wake-up and I have a double sim model.
With the recent one, ui update dropped to 3 to 4. Might pick up again after relearning my usage patterns. I turn my Google account off until i need it. Says delete, but you can sign back in. Cuts down on the unnecessary background draining and device scrapin. Read their terms of agreement for reference.
I have no idea what that other guy is going on about. The S22 line was notorious for having poor battery life and the 23 line was a notable improvement over them because of the feedback. They have the same sized batteries, the 23 is just much more efficient and doesnt heat up as much.
