Galaxy S22Just got my Samsung T7 SSD and my Samsung S22 Ultra cannot recongnize it rom the Android App Samsung Portable SSD. When the drive is connected to the phone Message says DISCONNECTED, with animation shows to plug cable with SSD into the phone. I can see the drive using My files. Why will it not connect properly to my phone and the Samsung SSD portable app
Very disappointing. what is the fix for this or is the T7 SSD deective

Galaxy S22Found the problem. The weblink that came with the SSD was apparently the wrong link. It must have been for Samsung SSDs in general, not for the T7. After reading reviews on Amazon, that noted this I uninstall the Samsung Portable SSD app. Then I went to the Google play store and download the app from there. Tried it again, now the app cognize the T7. I will also say that it seems that the app does not have any functionality other that changing the name of the drive, or securing the drive with a password. would like to see other features such as a backup utility
