I have been using S22 ultra since launch, and now ui 6.1 is consistenly not responding.There is no pending phone software update and running a diagnostic does nothing. Any suggestions to correct the situation?

Take your phone to Samsung Authorized service center and have them diagnose the phone. It could be a software issue where a reflash would correct the problem, 3rd party app which needs to be removed or a hardware issue.

I had many issues from the update. Started December 12th and just go worse. Samsung was no help so I eventually bought a new phone but while I was waiting for my new phone. I emailed the ceo from the Samsung website and they offered to fix the hardware for free. I don't need it now but I would reach out to them or else they will make you pay for a new motherboard
